Can we have our own lane?
At the minute we only have one lane, but we have plans to extend, so the short answer is Yes, of course you can. The maximum number one the lane is 10 people. There are 2 targets in the lane.
Do you have wheelchair access?
Yes, we believe that wheelchair users can have a fair competition against non wheelchair users in this sport and welcome wheelchair users.
Do I need special clothes?
No, wear whatever you want as long as you don’t have open toed shoes or sandals on, come dressed as a fairy queen or a big green troll, as long as your feet are protected, you can see what you are doing and your hands/arms can move as needed to throw an axe.
Can I bring my dog?
No, no pets allowed, I don’t want an unfortunate accident on my conscience.
Can I bring granny and her boyfriend? She's 87.
Yes as long as everyone is over 10 years old.
Can I drink alcohol?
No, big fat No, No drugs, No alcohol, if we think you have been drinking alcohol or taking drugs we will stop the session until you leave and no refund will be given to any participant. It is plain and simple; alcohol and drugs do not mix with throwing axes.
I'm pregnant, can I throw?
Well done, congrats. Axe throwing is a low intensity workout and we have some light axes that are just as much fun as the heavier axes but this really is a personal decision for you. If you have any doubts then please consult your doctor, midwife or other medical professional. And again, congratulations.
Are we insured?
While we have liability insurance that covers our activities you will be signing a disclaimer regarding your behaviour. If you or any member of your group don’t do as our staff ask you, then your cover could be voided
Can we have a Stag / Hen / Comicon do?
Yes, as long as you don’t drink alcohol prior to throwing axes, see previous FAQ regarding alcohol and drugs.
Can I bring my own axe?
No, you can only use our equipment on our equipment.
Do you have food and drink?
At the moment we do not have food and beverage facilities but it is something we are working on.
